Peach Cobbler Parfait (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Spiced Peaches

01 - 2 tablespoons white sugar
02 - 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (ground)
03 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
04 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
05 - 1 cup fresh peaches (peeled, chopped)
06 - 1 tablespoon light brown sugar

→ Cobbler Topping

07 - 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
08 - A pinch of table salt
09 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
10 - 1/2 cup regular flour
11 - 1/4 cup tightly packed brown sugar
12 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold, diced)

→ Final Touches

13 - Optional cinnamon for sprinkling
14 - Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the peach chunks, white and brown sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice into a saucepan on medium heat. Stir now and then as it cooks for about 5–7 minutes. When the peaches soften and the mixture thickens, set it aside to cool.
02 - Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment. Stir the flour, sugars, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Cut in the cold butter with your hands or a pastry tool until it looks crumbly. Spread this on the baking sheet evenly and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until it crisps up and turns golden. Cool completely.
03 - In a jar or clear cup, place a layer of the syrupy peaches. Add some crumble and either whipped cream or ice cream on top. Keep layering until full, ending with a final sprinkle of cinnamon for flair.

# Notes:

01 - Switching peaches: If you can’t get fresh ones, frozen or canned peaches (drained) work just fine.
02 - Keep extra topping in a sealed jar for future sweets!
03 - Serve it right away—they’re best when the topping stays crisp!
