Loaded Tater Tots Appetizer (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 32 ounces frozen tater tots
02 - 8 slices of bacon, chopped
03 - 1 cup queso
04 - ½ cup ranch dressing
05 - 2 scallions, thinly sliced
06 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or the temperature specified on the tater tot package.
02 - Spread the tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake them as per package instructions, 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
03 - Arrange bacon slices in a single layer on a separate baking sheet. Place it in the oven, cooking for 15-20 minutes until crisp. Start checking at 12 minutes to prevent overcooking.
04 - Slice the scallions and chop the cooked bacon into pieces. Warm the queso in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop for 2-3 minutes until pourable.
05 - Transfer the baked tater tots to a large serving dish. Evenly drizzle the warmed queso over the tots. Sprinkle with chopped bacon, drizzle with ranch dressing, and garnish with sliced scallions.
06 - Add a light sprinkle of salt and pepper. Serve immediately while warm.

# Notes:

01 - Do not overcrowd the baking sheet for crispier tater tots. Consider broiling for a couple of minutes at the end of cooking.
02 - Get creative with toppings like sour cream, chives, tomatoes, or chili for added flavor.
03 - If queso isn’t preferred, substitute with shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.
04 - For easier cleanup, cook bacon in the microwave or air fryer.
05 - If scallions are unavailable, opt for red onion, chives, or dried onion.
