04 - 1/4 cup liquid of choice (water, formula, breastmilk, or broth)
# Instructions:
01 - In a medium saucepan, heat the apples and liquid over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
02 - Add the berries and gently stir. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Let cool slightly.
03 - Transfer the apples and berries into a blender or food processor. Add rosemary and puree for 1-2 minutes or until the desired texture is reached, adding additional liquid in tablespoon increments if needed.
04 - If a completely smooth puree is desired, pass the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
# Notes:
01 - Recommended for babies 6 months and older.
02 - You can use fresh or frozen berries for this recipe. Frozen organic berries are a great quality option at a reasonable price.
03 - Organic produce is recommended as both berries and apples are on the Dirty Dozen list. Organic apples are slightly more expensive than conventional ones, but worth the investment.
04 - Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 4 months.
