Asian BBQ Maui Style Beef (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef

01 - 2 lbs beef short ribs, boneless, cut into 1/2-inch thin strips

→ Asian BBQ Marinade

02 - 1 kiwi, peeled
03 - 2 stalks green onion
04 - 1/2 cup pineapple juice
05 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
06 - 3 tbsp brown sugar
07 - 2 tbsp sesame oil
08 - 2 tbsp garlic
09 - 1-inch ginger

# Instructions:

01 - In a blender, combine kiwi, green onion, pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Blend until smooth.
02 - Cut the beef into 1/2-inch thick strips. Place the boneless beef short ribs in a large Ziploc bag or container. Add the marinade and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
03 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Air fry the beef for 5 minutes on each side until a bit of char is achieved, avoiding overcrowding.
04 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, pan-fry the beef for 5 minutes on each side.
05 - Preheat the grill and barbecue the beef for 5 minutes on each side until a nice char forms.

01 - Choose high-quality boneless beef short ribs for best results. Marinate for a minimum of 2 hours, preferably overnight, for optimal flavor. Cook on high heat to achieve a good sear and avoid overcooking.
